An annual event is moving locations from the Vincennes Riverwalk.
Rainbow Over the Bridge official Fernando Lozano spoke before the Vincennes Board of Works and Safety to ask to change the events location.
Lozano says his groups mission isn’t to stir up trouble and thought it would be better for everyone if they moved location due to circumstances beyond their control.
He asked the board if they could utilize Patrick Henry Square, while blocking off access on 2nd Street and making the only entrance on Main and 1st Streets.
After a brief discussion the board unanimously approved the change.
Rainbow Over the Bridge is a pride festival set for June 17th from 4pm to 9pm.
The event is free and open to the public.
