The weather is calling for rain, but for now, all 4th activities in Vincennes are on.

Events start at Noon Thursday on Patrick Henry Square with food booths and other vendors being being hosted by the Vincennes Firefighters Association.

The events at Patrick Henry Square are all weather permitting.

Mayor Joe Yochum says something new this year downtown, is live music…

The Mayor says the only thing that will stop the parade is if there is lightning present.

After the parade, the fireworks will be set off as usual as soon as it’s dark enough.

The Memorial Bridge will shut down at 6-pm to through traffic in order for the crews to set up for the fireworks display.

If weather cancels the fireworks, they will be rescheduled to Friday.
