Man Arrested After Domestic Dispute

A Daviess County man was arrested following an alleged domestic dispute involving a firearm on Wednesday, September 25. The incident occurred in the Raglesville area and involved a woman and her boyfriend, Jeremy Graber, 43, of Odon, Indiana.

According to police, the woman was picking persimmons when an argument with Graber escalated. Both individuals returned to their vehicles, but Graber blocked her from leaving by positioning his vehicle behind hers. After a physical struggle, Graber allegedly sprayed the woman and her vehicle with spray paint before retrieving a handgun and firing a shot into her vehicle near where she was standing. Graber fled the scene when the woman called police.

Officers arrived at the location and found a spent shell casing, spray paint on the woman and her vehicle, and a bullet in the engine compartment. Graber was later found in a wooded area near Crane and arrested without incident.

Graber was taken to the Daviess County Jail and faces multiple charges, including:

  • Criminal Confinement (with vehicle) – Level 5 Felony
  • Criminal Recklessness with a Deadly Weapon – Level 6 Felony
  • Pointing a Loaded Firearm – Level 6 Felony
  • Obstruction of Justice – Level 6 Felony
  • Domestic Battery – Class A Misdemeanor
  • Criminal Mischief – Class A Misdemeanor

He is currently being held on bond.
