October marks Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a time dedicated to raising awareness and encouraging early detection.

Each year, more than 360,000 people are diagnosed with breast cancer in the U.S., but advancements in screening and treatment provide hope. When breast cancer is caught early, in its localized stages, the 5-year relative survival rate is an encouraging 99%.

Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes is recognizing the month with their 14th annual Think Pink Ride, benefiting the Good Samaritan Breast Care Center, will take place on Saturday, October 12.

The event aims to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer support while offering participants a scenic ride through several communities.

Proceeds from the Think Pink Ride will go directly to support the Good Samaritan Breast Care Center’s ongoing efforts in the fight against breast cancer.

Fees are $20 per person and $10 per rider.
