Washington police continue to investigate a Friday evening shooting that left a woman injured and a Dubois County resident jailed.

Just before 4:45 PM, on November 29th,  officers from the Washington Police Department’s second shift and deputies from the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office were called to an apartment complex on South Meridian Street. The call reported a woman had been shot.
