Traffic Stop Uncovers Meth Stash

Two Vincennes men face felony charges after a late-night traffic stop in Bicknell.

Around 11:30 p.m. on December 5, a Knox County Sheriff’s deputy pulled over a Dodge Neon for a traffic violation. The driver was identified as 31-year-old Marcus Perez, and the passenger as 59-year-old Timothy Oesterle.

During the stop, K-9 officer Blast detected illegal drugs in the vehicle. A search revealed a glass pipe, digital scales with white residue, and over 10 grams of methamphetamine on each suspect.

Perez and Oesterle were arrested and booked into the Knox County Jail. Both face Level 4 felony charges for possession of methamphetamine and Level 2 felony charges for dealing methamphetamine.
