A Narcan training session is being offered next week, Wednesday, January 22 at the Margaret Compton Recovery Hub in Vincennes.
Narcan is a life-saving medication that can reverse the effects of an opioid overdose. In this training session participants will learn how to respond effectively during an overdose situation and gain the skills to potentially save a life.
The goal of the training is to provide participants with the tools and confidence to act in an emergency situation.
The session is free and open to the public.
