Vincennes University is celebrating 100 years of its Journalism and Photojournalism programs with a special event next Monday, February 17.
The “Honoring a Century of Journalism” celebration starts at 11:45 a.m. at the Shake Learning Resource Center café. It will showcase the history of VU’s student newspaper, The Trailblazer, and unveil a new logo designed by students.
VU Assistant Professor of Journalism Jenny McNeece says the program has been at the forefront of journalism education, preparing students with real-world experience from day one.
The public is invited to attend as VU marks a century of training media professionals.
