The Vincennes Redevelopment Commission received an update on the Broadway Place Subdivision, a housing development being built by Sure Clean Incorporated.
Originally planned for single-family homes, the project was revised to include 12 to 13 duplexes, providing 24 to 26 two- to three-bedroom apartments.
The sewer infrastructure was completed in January, clearing the way for construction to begin once weather conditions improve.
Sure Clean’s Mark Gerkin told the RDC on Thursday that the total investment in the project so far is approximately $960,000, with an expected final cost of around $4 million.
