An arrest has been made in Gibson County in connection with a fatal crash earlier this year that claimed the life of a Vincennes woman.
Gibson County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 41-year-old Justin Hill on a warrant for Driving Under the Influence of Drugs. Deputies served the warrant at a residence in rural Patoka.
Authorities say Hill was involved in a fatal crash on January 24, which killed Amy Wilson.
Investigators determined his red Cadillac CTS failed to yield at the intersection of US 41 and Old US 41, striking a southbound Ford Escape. Following department policy, both drivers underwent chemical testing. It was later confirmed Hill tested positive for methamphetamine.
Hill was taken to the Gibson County Jail.
