
The Knox County Sheriff’s Department responded to over 850 calls in March and made nearly 70 arrests.
In their monthly stats released this week, the office says among the top calls for the month of March were 229 traffic stops, 54 vehicle crashes, 26 burglar alarms, 15 domestic violence calls and 22 welfare checks.
The office also served 253 subpoenas. The jail population as of April 1st was 259 including 217 males and 42 females.
