A road closure on 6th Street will be impacting access to Good Samaritan Hospital’s Emergency Room and 6th Street entrance.
INDOT plans to close the stretch between Vigo and Willow this week. The closure is expected to last about two weeks, depending on the weather.
During the project, patients and visitors will need to use alternate routes. Detour options include Seventh to Nicholas, or Willow to Ninth, then Barnett to Seventh and Nicholas.
Good Samaritan asks people to allow extra travel time and follow posted signs.
