The Downtown Vincennes Association and Knox County Chamber of Commerce are inviting the public to “Spectator Alley” this Saturday from 11 to 2.

It’s described as a high-energy celebration set up at 1st and Main Streets—right near the finish line of the Vincennes Historical Half Marathon.

Spectator Alley will feature live music by Wade and Jamie, a food truck lineup, yard games for all ages, and a 21-and-over pop-up bar with a $10 cover.

Downtown businesses will be open during the event, and completed “Race Through Downtown” giveaway cards will be collected for a drawing.

Officials say that Spectator Alley is meant to bring together the community and cheer on runners during one of the city’s signature spring events.

Meanwhile,  race participants can pick up their swag bag, bib, and t-shirt the night before the event at The Pantheon on Main Street from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Eastern. Race day packet pickup will be available from 7 to 7:45 a.m. at the Burkhart Insurance parking lot on North 1st Street. Organizers strongly encourage runners to get their materials early to avoid delays on race morning.
