Two former Vincennes University teachers are being honored by the local Chamber of Commerce.
Mark Lange, a retired media professor at Vincennes University’s Broadcasting Career/Technical Program will receive the C. James McCormick Community Leader of the Year Award from the Knox County Chamber.
Lange, owns and operates numerous broadcast stations in the region. The chamber called him an unsung hero who has constantly worked to make Knox County better.
The Educator of the Year from the Chamber is Lincoln High Teacher Norbert Brown.
Brown formerly taught at VU and is credited with starting the first Toyota TEC’s program in Indiana.
Both will be honored at the May 4th Chamber Awards dinner.
