The newest member of the Vincennes University Board of Trustees took the oath of office this week. Nate Myers, a longtime leader at Cook Medical, officially joined the Board on Wednesday.
Governor Eric Holcomb appointed Myers to serve through October 2026. Myers brings over 20 years of experience in engineering and operations management and has been active with VU’s robotics and automation initiatives.
Board Chairman Mike Sievers praised Myers’ leadership and dedication to education, calling him an “incredible asset” for advancing the university’s mission.
Myers expressed enthusiasm for the role, saying he looks forward to contributing insights on industry trends and helping prepare students for successful careers.
Myers lives in Spencer, Indiana, with his wife and two children.
