The KCARC 1972 Building is bustling with activity this holiday season. Ongoing events include cardio drumming fitness classes every Wednesday and yoga classes on Mondays, both from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Each session costs just $5. For those interested in the arts, the facility also offers pottery wheel and canvas painting classes.
Looking ahead, KCARC is hosting a six-day Christmas camp for kids, scheduled for December 23, 26, 27, 30, and January 2 and 3. The camp features holiday-themed activities, providing a fun and engaging environment for children.
KCARC is also hiring across several departments, including teaching positions at the Civitan Children’s Center, direct support professionals for day and evening shifts, and roles in its manufacturing division, such as assistant floor supervisor and shipping clerk. A behavioral clinician position is also open for candidates with a master’s degree in clinical psychology.
