Baker Appointed New Hospital Foundation Director

Good Samaritan has appointed Brian Baker as the new Director of the Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation. Baker brings over 15 years of fundraising experience, including leadership roles at Oakland City University and the Buffalo Trace Council, Scouting America.

In his previous roles, he led capital campaigns, managed endowed scholarships, and developed strategic giving initiatives. Baker holds a master’s degree in management and a Certificate of Fundraising Management from IU’s Lilly Family School of Philanthropy.

Baker says he’s honored to build on the Foundation’s legacy, aiming for growth that benefits patients and the community.

Good Samaritan CEO Rob McLin praised Baker’s expertise, calling him “an excellent choice” for the role
